The paint case is perfect for a beginner because it has a little bit of everything. It gives you the ability to try the various formats, e.g. watercolors, pencil, oil and acrylic. It comes with several brushes and everything is contained in a very nice case, which doubles as an easle. I'm very happy with it and can't wait to get start painting. Thank you.

Purchased this for gift for 13 y.o budding artist who has outgrown beginning art kits. Nice quality of all materials, recognized name, numerous shades in the various media. Even brushes were more mid-range artist type. Great Deal. Wooden box with fastenable drawers is very well made.

We got this as a gift for our son who is taking art in high school. He uses it several times a week and the case makes it convenient for him to pack up his things and keep track of all the parts. The art supplies are high quality and the case is sturdy. It is a good value and he is getting a lot of use out of it!
