Every Robert Simmons Signet brush is handmade using high-quality Chungking hog bristle, interlocked and deep-set in an extra-long, seamless, nickel-plated ferrule. Long beech wood handles are treated with five coats of lacquer.
Ideal for acrylics and oils, these resilient brushes are guaranteed for life.
Series 43, Egbert
The egbert brush is a longer version of the filbert. It holds more color, and it flexes. With skill, it can generate stylized strokes and curves that are not possible with any other brush.

looking for best brushes

Comments about Robert Simmons Signet Brushes:
I have been looking for a good brush for a while. I have tries several brands offered here. The Simmons line is good, and the bristles hold their shape, so far. I am very careful with cleaning etc, but am still on the search for a favorite line, especially for small size brights. This one was the best of those tested.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Robert Simmons Signet Filbert Series 42 and 43:
I have been using Robert Simmons brushes in my own work for possibly 20 years. My favorite brushes are the filbert. They last a long time and offer me real control. I started using them in a high school art room about the same time and they have proven to be the most long lasting brush I have bought. They cost me more money, but I get two good years out of them as top brushes, then have students continue to use them in various ways for a year or two afterwards. They are terrific and I highly recommend them.
