Great Brushes for Painting Ceramic Surfa
By Paints Like a Barbarian
from On the Road
For painting bisqued ceramic pieces, these brushes are wonderful because they carry a lot of color which stays in the brush until you push/pull it out, and their synthetic surface creates virtually no "drag" against the texture of the clay.

A great brush at a great price
from North Carolina
After trying several brands and types of brushes (synthetic, sable and sable blends) I've settled down with the Sienna as my favorite. For me, it has the right blend of softness and snap. I find sable to be a little softer than I like, and some synthetics are too rigid. The Sienna is just right!

good quality durable brushes
For watercolors, I prefer synthetic over natural hair brushes and these brushes out perform most others that I have tried in the same price range. They have a great spring to them. The rounds snap back to a nice sharp point every time and the skyflow flats carry enough paint to do just about any wash I need even on a full sheet of paper.

I love this Sienna brush. I have been using the filbert range of Robert Simmons Sienna brushes for at least 10 years and was introduced to them by my teacher. I now teach and all of my students keep buying my own supply of brushes. So I have to keep ordering more. They are beautiful soft brushes for my Russian Zhostovo Floral style of painting which requires a full brush spread and a very gentle touch, which the sable has.
Daler Rowney has a long tradition of brush manufacturing. These professional quality, hand-made brushes are
crafted from only the finest raw materials and offer a life-time guarentee against defects in materials or workmanship.
