Great for Linoleum
from North Carolina
This is great for transferring an image to linoleum. It doesn't smudge after the transfer.

Blick great! - fedex, not so much...
By B. Harris
Remember the fedex commercial, when it absolutely positively has to be there tomorrow? Well it did, and they failed and cost me two days of work. Blick did everything they could to fix it, and we're very nice. Fedex, has gone down hill in my opion.

Description says no bleed.
By tina u
from Hendersonville, NC
This is the first time using this transfer paper for painting in oil on canvas. Unlike other products and homemade carbon papers, this transfers clearly and easily to a difficult surface, canvas. I was disturbed to see that the oil paint dissolves the dark lines and that changes the paint color after reading that it does not bleed in the product description. I want to continue using it and have not yet figured out how to FIX the transferred lines in a way that will not interfere with the bonding of the paint to the canvas.
Merchant response: To help avoid the bleeding you experienced, we suggest spraying an isolation coat with a fixative. Our Product Experts are happy to help you with product suggestions. You can reach us at 1.800.933.2542, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Transfer Paper Effective
from Atlanta, GA
Product works and is reasonably priced.
from Penn Valley, California
I work with various pencil medium (pastel, graphite, charcoal). I thought this transfer paper was a great deal and happy to find it but I have had a terrible time with the inability to erase the markings on several types of quality paper even with light pressure. I'm going to toss it and order a different brand as it is frustrating. Just be very careful where you make your transfer because if it is in a light area of your art, it will show. I have had to create backgrounds and shadows I did not want to have for the sole purpose of concealing the transfer paper markings.
Merchant response: We are sorry to hear that this paper did not perform as expected. If you are ever dissatisfied in a product, for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Care team at 1-800-723-2787. We are happy to help you with a return or exchange for another product that might work out better.

Great Transfer Paper
By Love to Paint
from Houston, TX
I plan to use this transfer paper when doing watercolor portraits of dogs. I'll be able to correct my sketch on scrap paper and then transfer it to the watercolor paper. I tested it when it arrived and it was fantastic - easy to erase down to a faint line as long as I didn't press too hard. I used a Pentel pen for the transfer. There was no smudging - a big improvement over the usual transfer paper - and this roll will last me a long time.
