Soak, shape, store, and wipe fine brushes as you work in this durable, attractive, beige-colored basin. The anti-stick surface accepts any solvent.
The basin suspends bristles in solvent, so they do not bend. Grooves in the bottom aid in cleaning the brushes. The brush bin comes with an air-tight lid.

Comments about Shiva Plastic Brush Basin:
This is a wash tub which I am glad to own. It has spaces for idle brushes, and spaces for "resting"-in-use brushes. It has a nice capacity for holding (I'm guessing) a pint of water. A great addition to my tool kit.

Perfect for classroom use
from Sulphur, LA
I used to use little plastic cups for water at the tables when painting. Naturally I was constantly battling spills and messes in the classroom- not anymore! Haven't had one spill since purchasing these tubs. Great purchase!!
Does its job. It would be extra nice if it were water tight.
always thought I'd like one of these

* I especially like the lid so it can be closed between sessions.* could be a bit larger.
Richeson Plastic Brush Bin

I love these brush basins! In a Kindergarten to Fifth grade setting they are big enough for several students to share, a great teaching tool to help kids learn how to take care of brushes and most importantly EASY TO CLEAN!!!
Great bin and a great price
from Burlington, WA
Having a dedicated water/solvent brush bin is one of those little luxuries that makes painting more enjoyable. I like the size and shape of the bin (not too big or little), the holes on the side for brushes, as well as the ridged area on the bottom of the bin for helping getting the paint off the brush.
Very practical brush holder/water wells
from San Diego
Perfect 2 wells for watercolor painting. Love the size. Glad to have found it online. Store didn't have in stock. Price great but shipping cost too high for such a lightweight item.
It's a Brush Bin
By Grey Fox
from Denton, Tx
I use this for watercolor and ink, I like that it's square and has multiple basins and a ridged area for brush cleaning. The bin itself is also pretty easy to clean.I just wish it could actually hold my brushes, the holders are too small for my mop brush, but too big for all my other brushes. The only brushes it can hold are my flats.

doesnt hold medium-small brushes at all
from Genoa City WI
This was priced very well BUT it would only support brushes with a very wide diameter on the handle. I paint miniatures and most of my brushes are medium to small, all of them slid right through the supports and mashed the bristles into the side rather than the bottom. Total waste of money for me. Might as well use an empty pickle jar.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
