Enjoy perfect stability whether you're working seated or standing. This Lyptus hardwood H-frame easel features a laminated quad base, with a slide and lock height adjustment system. Assembly required.
Lyptus premium hardwood is grown on well-managed plantations in South America, making it the eco-friendly choice for the global consumer.
Lyptus wood is from hybrid eucalyptus trees, which mature in 14–16 years (other hardwoods take up to 60 years). Lyptus trees sprout from the stump of previously harvested trees, so the forest is always renewing itself!
The wood is harder than oak, enabling easels made of Lyptus to withstand the wear and tear of everyday use.

I love this easel so far. Have had it for a few weeks so I can't speak about long term use. It's easy to put together, feels solid, holds many sizes of canvasses/paper, and looks good in my living room :) I also love that it's made with sustainable wood.

I absolutely love this easel! This thing is super sturdy, doesn't wobble at all, even with a heavy 36"x48" wood panel. Made from quality material that will last a long time. I have nothing bad to say about it. Was an excellent present to myself
Great Easel For Price

Very easy to assemble. Sturdy. Easy up and down adjustments that stay in place. Doesn't take up a lot of space. Highly recommend for the amatuer artist. Have no complaints.

I use this product for painting. It's very sturdy. Height/tilt is easily adjustable. I would buy this again. It took very little time to assemble. It's a "green" product which is great. I only wish it came with casters. But it's not too cumbersome to move around. The reviews on here helped determine whether or not to buy and I'm glad I did. The shipping took a long time as it was shipped directly from the manufacturer which was a bit of a bummer but product wise, I am very pleased.
very good easel
Very satisfied with this easel. It's sturdy and assembly isn't too difficult. Adjusting the angle and height of the canvas holder is extremely easy to do.

I realized shortly after ordering this easel that I had made a mistake and had meant to order the Dulce "Best" oak easel. I called within 24 hours to cancel the order, and was told that it was too late, it had already been submitted and had shipped. The easel arrived within a week. Upon unpacking it, I noticed that there was a piece of wood missing from the bottom of the mast, clearly a quality control issue - whoever packed it, must have known that it was defective. Be that as it may, the easel was easy to assemble, sturdy, and I decided to keep it, given the hassle of returning it - the drawback of ordering things on-line in general. The missing piece of mast does not impact its functionality.I am using the easel, and it is satisfactory after installing some casters so it can be moved around more easily. Beware that the lyptus wood is a very bright, reddish color - if you paint small canvases, you do see the H supports on either side of the canvas, and that high color may impact your choice of color as you paint.
Merchant response: We are sorry to hear that a piece of your easel was missing upon receipt. A member of our Customer Care team will be in touch with you to see if we may help you get this missing piece.

Fine workhorse - sturdy & exacting
from Key West
Aside from the incredibly low price, this easel is a fine workhorse, sturdy and exacting. So far it has stood up to two moves, exposure to Key West summer heat (I often paint outdoors) and rather cavalier treatment. It arrived practically assembled and I immediately put it to fairly heavy use and it has never let me down. Recently the top canvas holder went missing after a move to our new house and Richeson worked with me to replace it (the exact model is no longer being made). They sent me a beautiful replacement part at a price that was probably less than cost. Dick Blick & Richeson - an inspired match. Bravo and thank you!
Very reliable product
The item was easily assembled right out of the box.

I'd buy it again
from Washington, DC
This is easy to assemble - very intuitive, you don't really need instructions, you just have to understand how easels work and then make it happen. I like the way the pieces that secure the canvas to the frame work - it's a pinching motion instead of a slot falling into a hole, which makes it completely adjustable. Its very Pretty and may not be suited to taking a lot of abuse from students, but its great for home use. I'd buy this again.
