Richeson Cascade Easel

This studio-style easel tilts vertically, a feature that artists who paint on tall canvases find attractive because it brings the top of the canvas within closer reach. Pastel artists also appreciate this feature because it allows pastel dust to fall naturally away from the surface.

The Cascade Easel holds canvases up to 49" tall. It has a non-slip ratchet for easy adjustment, 3-point stability, and is made from lyptus hardwood.

Assembly required.

Lyptus premium hardwood is grown on well-managed plantations in South America, making it the eco-friendly choice for the global consumer.

Lyptus wood is from hybrid eucalyptus trees, which mature in 14–16 years (other hardwoods take up to 60 years).Trees sprout from the stump of previously harvested trees, so the forest is always renewing itself!

The wood is harder than oak, enabling easels made of lyptus to withstand the wear and tear of everyday use.
