I was so excited to find a lightweight-large print rack where I would be able to show off some of my prints in a professional way.. Portable is important for me, and the look on-line was very nice. When it was delivered to me, it was everything I thought it would be...until I began to load the rack with my prints. It didn't take but a few items to realize that the rack was unstable, and would not be able to stand on its own. After analyzing the problem, it was obvious...the back of the rack extended way beyond the back foot, making the rack worthless unless braced against a wall. A quick look again online at this item showed a little more thought gone into the smaller rack...the back feet were bent to provide a bit more stability. Why didn't they do this with the larger rack also? Unusable...this print rack was returned immediately.

The "mini" canvas print rack is perfect for prints matted and mounted to 11x14 and smaller. The rack holds at least 20 - 25 prints quite comfortably without danger of damage to your product. I put the mini rack on top of a tub that I use to carry my prints to & from art shows. So, the base was my tote/tub which I draped with a cloth that compliments my booth space. Then the mini rack was placed on top of the covered tote. It enticed folks to look at the prints while I had other prints displayed in table top acrylic racks and a spinner within the space allotted. Great product for smaller prints. Lightweight, easy to pack & carry. Comes already assembled and is of good quality. Already, two of my friends have ordered one for themselves after having seen mine.

I had bought one of these before and it was a challenge to assemble, however in the end, it worked. THIS TIME however, after the third try, I realized that for once, I wasn't the problem...the holes weren't machined properly so I couldn't get the bolts in to tighten. I managed to get a few in and that seems to be holding it together alright, however I'm afraid to load it completely. I'm usually quite satisfied with my purchases from here, but this time I have to give a thumbs down on a product. Sorry DB.

It was hard to put together and seemed a bit flimsy, does work very well for a small amount of prints though, served it's purpose.

Don't bother with the larger ones unless you are handy, patient and have a rubber mallet on hand. There was no instructions, but it looked simple enough. However, one screw couldn't be tightened because it was stripped. Another was difficult to tighten as the head was malformed and the allen wrench wouldn't fit. To top it off I needed a mallet to get the crossbars to fit tightly enough. It is usable, but not a mistake I will make again. Next time I will go to an art supply store and buy one already assembled for the same price.

I use this canvas rack at photography shows to hold my pictures. It holds a lot of pictures, keeps them neat and easy to see. It folds up for easy storing as well as traveling. I haven't found anything about it that I don't like.
