If I could give more than 5 stars I would, that's how nice this paper is. It is the smoothest nicest paper ever. I use Rhodia pads (mainly #18 uni-blank version in A4 size 21 x 29,7 cm; that's similar/same as letter size) but sometimes I use smaller pocker sizes for even more portability/different projects.

I have been using Rhodia blank (plain) version pads for years and I still cannot find any other paper that even comes close to it and I sample every once in a while different papers.

I mainly use this paper for my notes (sometimes I use grid version for it too) and especially for sketching/drawing with pencil and blank ink pigment pens/Pentel Pocket brush pen. It glides so smoothly. I also use it for finished art pages in india ink or pentel Pocket brush pen. The paper is thinner when compared to bristol paper or other thicker papers but with care I'm able keep the art pages in good condition by placing them in some binder such as Itoya folio. Another advantage is that it does not take alot of space when compared to thicker paper pads such as Bristol paper (eg, Strathmore).
