Rembrandt's Series 100 Kolinsky Red Sable Fine Point Rounds utilize select tail hair from Siberian or Mongolian Kolinsky Red Sables — the very finest hair for watercolor painting. Offering superb absorption, resilience, and durability, these brushes let you execute precise techniques without the constant need to put more paint on the brush. The sharp tip has excellent point and makes detail work easy to master.

Select hardwood handles are contoured for comfort and finished with black lacquer followed by three coats of protective varnish. The seamless ferrule is crafted of gold-plated brass. With proper care, these sturdy brushes are sure to last for many years to come.

Note — Brush sizes are not standardized. The length and width of a brush of a given shape and size varies considerably by manufacturer. Since fine art brushes are handmade, expect some variation even among brushes from a given manufacturer.

I use them for fine detail in both oil and watercolor but mostly oil.
They as good or better than brushes that costs more. I really like the feel, how they point up, how they clean-up and hold their shape. For me they have the perfect just the right amount of hairs to hold the amount of paint I want on my brush.
