Rembrandt oil paints

Rembrandt oil paint is very rich, cream and not too oily. I've achieved good results by adding medium and linseed standing oils too move a smoother movement of strokes on the canvas. I like to stretch my own canvas, heavy gesso with three coats this allows a smooth surface and then the magic of the oil paint flows nicely for portrait paintings. Bravo, the price is very good when on sale which is quite often. Old Holland is good quality, but pricy for most artists. Yes, I would recommend this to any art students, professional quality and results are excellent!!!!!

Rembrandt Artists Oil Colors offers a wonderfulf selection of paints suited for whatever type of painitng you are into. For me I love the smooth creamy consistancy that allows me to blend colors with little effort or added medium. This paint is excellent for the beginning professional or the serious weekend painter becasue it gives you professional grade paint at a value you can afford especially when the money is tight.

The quality of color and the constistency of the paint are very easy to use whether using them opaque or combining with transparancy. When painting en plein air the constistency is perfect for necessary quick application.
I haven't found anything that is objectionable about the paint.

Purchased in the past from Dick Blick; Rembrandt, Winsor & Newton and Grumbacher oil paints. These are all first quality colors. I favor specific colors in each brand. All these brands have good pigments. Also purchased several wood frames and appreciated the packaging and high quality.
