Each Rembrandt watercolor uses the purest quality of pigments and gum Arabic. It is formulated to achieve the maximum transparency and reflection of light while maintaining the highest concentration of pigment.

Pigments are triple-ground to a superfine consistency that produces maximum color clarity and allows the application of uniform washes even when highly diluted. An immaculate transition from subdued to full bodied tints is virtually guaranteed. All colors are highly permanent.

The color choice of the 24 color set is very good. They are the colors I would have chosen separately also, no useless white & black. The sable brush that comes with it is very good quality & good size also, not a tiny brush that comes with most other sets.

I got this set five years ago to bring to my weekly art club. It quickly became my main painting set; all the tubes I had accumulated are now auxiliary supplies, and I am ordering a larger Rembrandt pan set, which is finally available in the USA. Half my art club uses this set now as well. The colors are brilliant artist quality pigments; nothing works better for layering. The set comes with a lovely sable brush, a samll mixing tray, and a travel case. I absolutely love it.
