Great or adult coloring books
Comments about Reeves Colored Pencils:
I bought a 36 set of Reeves colored pencils to use as a stand by set for my coloring books while I researched other brands. I have since bought a set of Irojiten and a 120 set of Faber-Castel Polychromous. Which are wonderful! But I really have to sing the praises of this little Reeves set.It is perfect for fine detail coloring like The Secret Garden and Magic Forest books. The colors are bright and clear, even though the lead is a harder lead the color still goes on creamy. They are much creamier than Prismacolor Verithins. The points stay sharp for a long time, you don't have to stop and sharpen it every few minuets. Blending is good and I haven't had any wax bloom with them.I find myself reaching for them very often for that fine detailing in many of my coloring books. And a great value at less than 16 dollars.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Better than Prismacolor
from Houston, TX
In my experience, these are better than the Prismacolor Watercolor pencils and Verithins I've used for my art. They blend smoothly, and have a very comfortable feel when in use. I doubt I'll use any other colors again.

These are pretty cool color pencils. I've been using these since I was in middle school. They sort of give your work a shiny, watercolor look. Best pencils i've used my whole life. I sometimes hate to use the yellow-orange color pencil, because it's the one I use the most. Plus, it's my favorite color. I use these pencils mainly to draw fanart of my favorite cartoons like Sonic or Transformers. I have yet the chance to use it on my actual work, though. When I get the chance I probably will.
