Ready to Paint the Masters: Monet in Acrylics

Artists and long-time admirers of Claude Monet can produce impressive versions of his famous paintings for themselves with Noel Gregory's expert guidance and helpful tracings.

In this magnificent book, Gregory shows how to reproduce four famous paintings by Monet and one inspired by the master, using acrylic paints and following his step-by-step photographs and detailed instructions.

The reusable tracings make replicating Monet's free, expressionistic works simple by showing you the basic shapes with which to experiment — and Gregory's infectious enthusiasm for the subject makes the book easy and accessible.

The full-color text features six tracings for readers to pull out and transfer onto the painting surface — one for each project plus a bonus tracing paper.

This book is suitable for all abilities, from beginners to experts.

Noel Gregory studied at High Wycombe College of Art and Bournemouth Teacher Training College in England. He owned an art gallery near Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, for 25 years, exhibiting and selling Victorian pictures and later his own work. He now makes a living as an artist, specializing in oil painting, and sells his work internationally. Gregory lives in Spain.
