Raphaël's Golden Kaërell is a long-wearing brush fiber with excellent water-carrying capacity and surprising strength at an economical price. Supremely soft, with a fine-tip, it's excellent for watercolor as well as acrylic painting.

Series 8796, Short Handle Flat — This brush is a short handle version of the Series 879 Flat, and is perfect for line work and washes in watercolors, or for painters in acrylics and oils who prefer a short handle brush.

Note — Brush sizes are not standardized. The length and width of a brush of a given shape and size varies considerably by manufacturer. Since fine art brushes are handmade, expect some variation even among brushes from a given manufacturer.

These synthetic brushes are really soft with a good spring, almost like real sable. All this with a reasonable price tag. They are really a good value. Perfect for those who wants top performance in brushes but doesn't want to spend a lot.
