Ranger Archival Inks produce lasting results in a classic palette of rich, fade-resistant, water-resistant colors.
Archivally safe for all your paper projects, these inks provide crisp, stamped images over waterbased dye inks, alcohol inks, acrylic paints, and watercolors. The inks are acid free, non-toxic and permanent on most paper. On glossy surfaces, inks should be heat set to ensure permanency. Jet Black is ideal for stamping open images to be colored with ink, markers, or pigment powders.
Re-inkers are available in 0.5 oz (15 ml) bottles.

These stamp pads are the best!
from Reno, NV
Comments about Ranger Archival Ink Pads and Re-inkers:
I've been looking for a gray stamp pad for a while now and I'm happy to finally find it here. I plan to use it with rubber stamps--it's more subtle than black so won't be as noticeable when filling in stamped images.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pads are unraveling and ink is not waterproof. Very disappointed!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Merchant response: Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that the pads are not holding up well and that the ink, which is water-resistant but not waterproof, isn't what you expected. A member of our Customer Care Team will be following up with you via email to see how we can help.
Great stamping ink!

I use this product when I want the color to be permanent and not run when wet. The colors are so varied and last.

Great ink, great price

I had to look all over the place for refills for my Ranger Archival Ink Pad and Dick Blick's had them and for a low price. I use the Jet Black ink to stamp images for watercoloring. It is waterproof and does not fade. Crafters this is a great place to get your coloring tools/supplies for cardmaking!
Good price for product
I bought the ranger black inkpad refill. Its a good price and I will use it quite a bit with my inkpad. I definitely wish blick carried more inkpads and refills in general but I am still happy with this purchase. It came wrapped up very well and did not spill.
Love these pads

I love this archival ink. I can use under paints & it doesn't move, it dries fast, comes in lots of fabulous colors, & most importantly doesn't have that same harsh smell as that "other" permanent ink pad.

We used these in a craft activity- we'd stamp the participant's choice of stamp on Strathmore 400 watercolor paper, let it dry (5, 10 minutes tops), and then use a variety of waterbased media over the top- Gelatos, Derwent Inktense, and plain old watercolors. Not even the heaviest washes moved it once dry. One lady even peeled part of her paper back and the design was still solid under the surface layer. I noticed no feathering on the Strathmore; it printed sharp and clear.I recommend this product for any paper application that needs to stay put once applied. Once this pad runs dry, I'll definitely be buying the reinker. (And this review was prompted by the "Win a $1000" email, though said email had no influence on the content. This product really is this good.)

I do a lot of mixed media so these are perfect because they are permanent and waterproof. I can stamp with them and then paint over dried ink and no messy blurry lines. I have them in many colors. If you had to pick one, get the black.
Good product at a great price!

I use Ranger Archival Ink pads with polymer clay. The colors don't fade over time as some others do. High quality and a wide range of colors available.
