The R&F Heated Palette is the perfect tool for working with encaustic paints. It provides a platform on which to keep knives and brushes warm and ready for use. It also makes a great heated surface for mixing colors. The aluminum plate measures 16" × 16" (406 mm × 406 mm). It is made with a sheet of 3/8" (9.5 mm) thick aluminum steel alloy and has been anodized to prevent discoloration of several of the light pigments. The Heated Palette comes complete with an attached brush holder, adjustable legs, and a heat source. Mixing can be done in sturdy palette cups (sold separately), or directly on the surface. Palette Cups — These cups are good for mixing and for keeping your colors separate. Made of a heavy aluminum steel alloy. Both circular and rectangular cups are available. Circle cups measure 2-3/4" (70 mm) in diameter, and rectangle cups measure 3-7/8" × 2-1/2" (98 mm × 64 mm). see also ... ™ R&F is a trademark. |
