Prismacolor fineline markers are the best!
from Lombard, Il
Comments about Prismacolor Premier Illustration Markers:
I use these markers for mixed media artwork. I love to use very fine line pens and markers but find that many on the market run out very quickly. The Prismacolor markers last much, much longer than most other brands I have used. And you don't need to hold them a certain way when drawing. All in all, I do my best art work w these markers. I only regret is that they don't have more colors in the fine lines.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great for Journals
I use these for my bullet journals because once they dry, they don't smear when I highlight over them. I add a lot of color with mildliner highlighters and their soft color doesn't look well when the ink smears. This is the best pen I've found to do bullet journaling for other reasons too. It dries quickly, it has a fine point, and it doesn't bleed through my paper. It's hard to find these individually in point size you want as most stores sell in sets. It's nice to buy just the .03 size and have some extras on hand.

This is the first time using the Prismacolor Premier Illustration Markers and so far I'm loving them for the fine line work that I need them for.
My new markers
from Spring, Texas
I translate Arabic/Turkish and Ottoman texts. I need very fine, reliable and durable markers to make notes in both English and Arabic. I found the 0.3, 0.1 and 0.05 markers to be the best to get the job done. I was visiting a student in Cairo, Egypt who had a 0.3 and tried it, I liked it so much that I decided to order my own as soon as I got back to the US.

These are very nice markers. I was hoping they would be a bit darker in color for what I wanted to use them for. My fault for not looking

better than last order
from Greenville, MS
I just ordered a restock for the 005 black pens. my last order didn't seem to last as long as pens in the past. the tips seemed to be defective also. this order seems to be much better. I draw on 8 1/2 by 11 card stock and I usually get 1 and 1/2 drawings from a pen. On the last order the pens only lasted 3/4 of a drawing. this order seems to be much better. I really like prismacolor pens and was glad to find out that wasn't a permanent problem.

I mostly do pen and ink drawing and really like the effect of a very fine line pen or marker for detail. The Priismacolor .005 markers do the job and last longer than similar pens and markers.

I've been using these markers for crosshatching, which means a lot of fast movement. It doesn't harm the markers in anyway and they seem pretty durable. Plus the colors are nice. They don't work extremely well on the paper I first tried them out on, but as soon as I switched to drawing paper, they worked fine.
