This is my favorite pen. I do pen and ink drawings, and use it all the time. This pen is the best value for the money. I will continue to use them always.
I use these pens to sign the bottoms of my woodturnings.

I won't be buying this again!

I just received a .005 Illustration Marker in Brown. I've had these in black before and liked them, but the brown is useless. Almost no ink comes out and you certainly can't see the lines on the page. I tried it on both Strathmore Mixed Media paper and a Pentalic Nature sketchbook and it is virtually dry. I'd really like a good fine line marker in brown so I guess I'll have to keep looking.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I do a lot of cartoons and sometimes add an Acrylic wash for color or an Ink wash for gray scale. I need a marker that won't bleed into my color wash when I brush across it and these markers stay right where you put them. And they don't bleed through the paper like some do. I highly recommend these markers.
Reliable product for permanent drawing.
