For the price you get so much more. The quality is just as good as any of the other higher priced markers. I have tried a few different brand names but I think these are just as good if not better. I would recommend this brand to anyone looking for a reasonably priced marker.

I have become a bit of a marker addict lately. I've wanted to try all of the different kinds out there. Let me say that I love the Prismacolor Brush tips. They are very similar to copics in the application. The colors are a bit more vibrant than copic. You can acheive more subtlety with copics but they are still amazing markers. They aren't as good as some but better than most. Definately a great value.

I was able to come upon these miracle markers about a month ago; I had been using the chisel tip (original Prismas) for months, and it was QUITE the change. They are great quality, perfect color selection, and wonderful blending. The large, flexible brush tip takes some getting used to though, as it's a rather odd feeling. Solution, doodle for a week or so on copy paper. I guarantee it will help significantlly in the future. I highly recemmed these!

I work on illustrations and comissions with my markers, especially the French Grey which is a tone Copic doesn't offer and for many years the only thing other markers had that attracted me more than my Prismas was the brush end.
With the advent of the brush end AND the fine end (not the chisel of most competitors) I have a way to fill large areas with more control than a chisel tip and the fine tip that is great for careful details.
I bought myself a set of all 3 grey ranges and I am loving every second of using them. If you are looking for a gret marker with wonderful colors and great blending give these a try. It won't break you.

The worst thing about it is the same thing all Prisma grey sets suffer from - the 12 marker penalty. You have your 9 grey markers then they want to push to the 12 and you end up with *3* black markers. Three. I will never run out of black... And I hope they go to offering these as single markers soon!

I'm a Copic user.I bought these to try them out before getting a set for a family member. They work great. I have not had an issue with ink flow in the fine tip like I had with previous prisma markers, and the brush tip is awesome. My only issue is they don't feel as comfortable in my hand as the copics. But thats a preference thing. Bottom line is these are great markers and I have no problem recommending them.
