Love these brush markers!
from Bishop, CA
Prismacolor brush tip pens are like using paint without having to dip your brush. In fact, they transfer color smoother than paint with continuous flow. I use them to color for relaxation and my only warning is, it's addictive. I bought the 72 color set that comes with a 6 tiered storage case. The case is flimsy and sags making it hard to pull the pens out, but it's workable. The pens also have a fine tip end for detail work. Be aware that the set contains 10 shades of gray, 3 black and 1 cream, so there are really only 58 colors and some are very close in hue. Still, I love this product and you will too!
Best product ever, and the price excelent, thank you! ❤️

I like the beautiful, vibrant colors. I use the markers to color various pictures such as mandalas, fairies, stain glass and more. The end result is a picture that looks like a print.
Prismacolor is the best!
My daughter is making some mixed media projects on canvas and needed markers that could hold their weight against the acrylics and collage that are incorporated. These markers are dual sided and worked beautifully!
I would buy this product again and again

Portrait Brush Tip Marker Set
By Just a Manga Artist
from Tehachapi, CA
I purchased the 24 count Portrait Brush Tip Marker set and it arrived yesterday. Completed a few finished drawings since. I'll start off with the positive. Inexpensive compared other marker brands and an excellent value. You wont be disappointed with these. A variety of line thicknesses can be achieved with the brush tip and ink flow is very smooth at both the brush and fine tip ends. Colors are vibrant and bright, even on a $4 marker pad I found at a local big box retailer. The barrel feels nice in my hand and the markers have an overall nice look to them. Now for the slight negatives. Not refillable but for the price, that's not so important to me but just something other people interested in these markers should be aware of. Of the colors included in this set, 2 markers are not accurate to the color displayed on the barrel. PB 96 Blondwood (too yellow) and PB 78 Brick Beige (too red) are two that color differently from the color on the barrel and PB 170 Peach comes out much more orange than the color on the barrel. Note: The color samples displayed on Dick Blick's website is sometimes NOT accurate to the color of the marker. True for: PB 9 Blush Pink Light. PB 10 Blush Pink. PB 12 Light Peach. PB 23 Cream. PB 72 Eggshell. PB 89 Light Walnut. PB 170 Peach. PB 208 Ballet Pink. Bottom Line: Test the markers on a piece of scratch paper BEFORE you begin coloring your final drawing to make sure the color is what you need. Make your own color chart so you can see how the colors look to you. I am excited to be purchasing more of these markers from Dick Blick over the next few weeks and expanding my collection. Thanks for reading!
These things are way kool!!
from Central Wi.
Like I said way kool, but had to use rubber gloves on nib end for leverage to get them off. Don't use pliers or you'll be out a set of markers this will crack the cap and they will dry out!

I Love Prismacolor Markers
from Springville, UT
These large brush-tip markers are so smooth to use. I don't have experience with a lot of other brands because I've been so satisfied with Prismacolor products. I do have some brush-tip Sharpies, but the feel of them is rougher and the brush tip of the Prismacolor markers is softer, smoother, and more responsive to various amounts of pressure in your hand. The lids are very tight and difficult to get off. If you have arthritis in your hands, this could be a serious issue. If you have children around, this is an extra line of defense between them and the walls. It also prevents them from drying out. These markers will last for years if treated right. To overcome the difficulty in getting the lids off, I use a strip of rubber from the tie they use when you get a blood lab test done, but you can also buy a rubber jar opener and cut it to the size you want. Using this makes removing the lids very easy. These markers blend well, at least on smooth paper. I don't know how they do if your paper is more coarse and absorbent (like on watercolor paper). They will bleed on coarser textured paper, but I have no trouble with bleeding on Canson marker paper (great stuff!). I love these markers and have used them almost daily since I got them.
