Designed for detailed work, Prismacolor Premier Double-Ended Art Markers feature an advanced dye-based alcohol ink formulation that ensures rich color saturation and coverage, and smooth, silky ink flow.

Each Prismacolor Art Marker features two distinct nibs capable of achieving multiple line widths. Both ends draw from a single ink reservoir for a perfect color match end to end, making them ideal for both technical and artistic applications. Intended for professional artists and advanced students, Prismacolor Art Markers will not fade or feather.

As an artist I enjoy working with new mediums and trying different products out. I have a collection of Copic markers which I am in love with and can't get enough of. Recently I was asked about my opinions about the prisma marker doup for copics and to be honest I wasent too impressed. When you compair the prices yes the prisma is much more affordable then copic markers however the feel and the result of using them just isnt good. A copic goes on smooth and even a beginner can blend the colors together to get a beautiful effect. With prisma the shading looks cheap. The color variety isnt great and the skin tones look yellow or just unnatural. I feel like these are a waste of money because they are only somewhat better than cheap crayola markers. If you are willing to spend so much copic is the brand to go with. Anyone out there who says they are the same cannot have tried the copic sketch. If they have then they must not be using them the way they were ment to be used.

The prismacolor markers are awesome for the really good beginner to the pros, i find them really useful for manga and anime styles. They are a very good price for the quality and i enjoy coloring with them. They have a comfortable and wonderful feel with almost no lines.

I don't know why people think that prismas aren't that fantastic, and that they aren't as good as copics. My Prismacolor markers color very smoothly and I don't see many overlapping lines. The only time I see overlapping lines is if you go over it later, but of course ALL markers do that. Although the markers were great there we some weird markers, one of them didnt have a tight cap and the other one had a little rip in the tip. When I read the reviews many people complained about the stand but I find that it is okay if you leave in the main box. I LOVE THESE MARKERS!!! I believe that the only real difference is that copics have more colors then prismas.
