Welcome to dickblick
This popular eraser kneads easily into any shape, erases cleanly, and picks up all residue. It's excellent for removing or highlighting pencil, chalk, charcoal, and pastel.

Comments about Prismacolor Kneaded Rubber Erasers:
I like these erasers quite a bit. They work really well to clean up light sketches of pencil and charcoal on paper. The only thing I would warn you of is that these erasers don't completely erase if you pressed hard into the paper. I would use some other eraser for that. They also don't seem to work with colored pencils like other people have said. That said, I do still love them.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The perfect sized kneaded eraser
By E Lo
from Munster, IN
My students learn to use the right tool for the job at hand. This includes the right eraser to remove a variety of media on different surfaces. This eraser size fits well in the hands of the high school or college aged student. It is large enough to press out and lift smudges, unwanted "spread" and chalk, charcoal, or conte pencil"dust". Also works well with softer uses of Ebony and 4-8B pencils without eroding the surface. Kneaded erasers are not known for good removal of heavy graphite or colored pencil.
clean get away
from Hemlock, Michigan
This works fantastically. The only draw back is I have a tendency to knead it a lot and it stinks. But you can't beat how it works.
Not Too Sticky
from Sarasota, FL
This eraser works nicely. It is rather stiff and take a little to soften. It does lift graphite and colored pencil gently without disturbing the paper. To make it more sticky you need to warm it up in your hand and keep massaging it till it gets more pliable. Then roll it into a sausage shape and roll it over the pencil. If you really want to erase, you will need a white eraser of some kind. This is very gentle pickup.

The eraser was a bit smaller than I had anticipated but it works just find for pencil, colored pencil and pastel.
