The Prismacolor Colorless Blender uses a special formula to soften hard edges, and to lighten or blend colored pencils. Use it for a smooth, blended look. With the Colorless Blender, colors can be layered on top of each other without cloudy build up.

This pencil is sold unsharpened.

Note — Manual sharpening is recommended for this pencil. Clogging can be prevented in electric sharpeners by periodically sharpening a graphite pencil to keep the blades clean.

I think it's great for such a nice price! It dosen't have a colour and turns out clear but it blends the other colours you layered ontop of each other so you don't get a choppy kind of look. I noticed that stanford does have some quality control issues but I haven't had too many problems yet. I also bought a box of (48) Primsacolor coloured pencils and the blender works great with them! It makes your artwork look alot smoother. I love it! And will be buying more!

Nothing Happened!

Maybe I'm using it wrong, but when I tried to blend my colors with it nothing happened. It just looked like a layer of wax over the color! I'll stick with the Gamsol.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

It's an AWESOME product! You use it like you would use a colored pencil (without it leaving color lol). This Prismacolor Blender makes it to where you don't have to have layer over layer of colored pencil to get your colored pencils blended. I don't think there is anything wrong with this product!

WOW!!!! Thanks to the colorless blender my colouring looks really smooth! People have been asking how my colouring is so smooth! It's great to use even if you're not using prismacolor pencils. You can use it with any colour pencil and it blends the colour wonderfully!!!
