Comments about Printer's Edge Aluminum Screen Printing Frame:
I use the 305 mesh, 20"x24" screen. The smaller mesh is good for printing text and small details onto paper. If you were looking to print onto t-shirts or something of that sort, I would definitely recommend a wider mesh, such as 160 or 230.
This screen is absolutely great for the price that I paid compared to other retailers with the same product. It prints super-fine details and I never have a problem with exposing the screen.
One thing that I wish was different is that the frame (the aluminum part) is extremely rough, like sandpaper. I've actually cut myself a couple of times. I'm unsure if it is the frame that I received or if all of them come this way. I ordered 2 and both were like this. I can also see a couple small holes in the fabric where it was glued to the frame, looks like it had been ripped from the frame being so rough. It hasn't affected the printing area but I plan on getting some tape with lots of adhesive to cover the frame with to prevent the fabric from splitting across the frame.
Overall, this a good product for the price but it needs some serious improvements to be great.
