Princeton's long handle synthetic bristle brush has excellent stiffness, snap, and hair shape retention for maximum control. It's easier to clean than natural bristle. It's recommended for use with heavier paints.
Used for blending and figurative work, this top-grade synthetic hair holds and absorbs more paint and stands up to heavy body acrylics, and water-soluble oils.
It possesses the same stiffness as natural bristle, however, unlike its natural counterpart it retains its shape and stiffness.
Each brush features a rich, distinctive gold ferrule and black lacquered wood handle.

Nice for water misable oils
By Green Mountain Art Girl
These are medium stiff. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the stiffest brushes I have found, these are a 7.Perfect for blending work for an impressionistic style.

Comments about Princeton Best Synthetic Bristle Bright Series 6300B:
As a watercolorist, I use this brush to lift paint. It work wonderfully and if used judiciously leaves the paper relatively unscathed.
Very good with acrylic!
I really like the brush, feels smooth and flexible.

Very good brushes that mimic bristle but retain shape. I use primarily flats and brights for scrubbing in large value shapes in the first pass of the painting. Can still work well for details and refinement but that might depend on the kind of surface you are using and the style of painting you do. I also wash with masters brush cleaner, which seems to prolong the life of all of my brushes. I end up grabbing for these brushes a lot, so would recommend.

Best VEGAN choice for a synthetic Bristle brush!

Comments about Princeton Series 6300 Dakota Synthetic Bristle Filbert:
I've always loved filbert brushes. Naturally I have a variety of brushes but the filbert is my favorite. As I've grown older, I've become even more aware of how precious our natural resources are and have been leaning toward the vegan choices in life including my art supplies. I'm pleased to find quality brushes that meet that requirement.

The filbert brush enables the painterly approach.

Best. Brushes. Ever.
By R J Bechtel
I have had some of these Princeton brushes since college (I'm in my 50's now) and they still hold their shape really well. If you take care of these brushes, they'll last you a lifetime!
I would buy this again.

Two brushes arrived broken. Not broken in transit. They were broken brushes that had been repackaged.
