Welcome to dickblick
Princeton's long handle synthetic bristle brush has excellent stiffness, snap, and hair shape retention for maximum control. It's easier to clean than natural bristle. It's recommended for use with heavier paints.
Used for blending and figurative work, this top-grade synthetic hair holds and absorbs more paint and stands up to heavy body acrylics, and water-soluble oils.
It possesses the same stiffness as natural bristle, however, unlike its natural counterpart it retains its shape and stiffness.
Each brush features a rich, distinctive gold ferrule and black lacquered wood handle.

Comments about Princeton Best Synthetic Bristle Flat Series 6300F:
I do landscape paintings with Golden heavy body acrylics and Golden fluid acrylic paints. I have "many" brushes and these are the ones that I reach for most of the time. Not too stiff.. not too soft.. and keep a nice edge.

These were small brights for fine lines. Disappointed when separation occured after a few sessions. I carefully wash my brushes and avoid water, paint, etc getting into the ferrule.

I bought this brush to use with Winsor & Newton Artisans Oils. I'm impressed with this brush. It's taken me out of my comfort zone for sure. I'm used to painting small pieces. Now this brush has made me go from a small canvas to larger one, and I'm having a blast. It strong, sturdy and nicely balanced. The price is nice as well. I did not have to break the bank to get a quality brush. I'm fairly new at painting painting, so I really wanted to be sure that I enjoyed the craft before sinking a lot of cash into supplies. I'm happy that I decided to buy it, and the paints as well. I believe you will not go wrong with Princeton Series 6300.
