Filbert Grainer — Use a grainer for creating multiple lines, to achieve effects such as grass, hair, and fur. The filbert grainer combines the traditional olive shape of the filbert with the texture capabilities of the grainer.

I have a couple of these brushes, one I use for my canvas work and the other I use for details on my cloth painting. In both cases the brushes have held the shape strong and stay in good shape.

I like to make a lot of small half inch circles, and this brush is really nice for that. I wish the handle was longer, but it was not available, but it's really no problem at all.
