We all like the short handle's grip texture to be sure and the lovely gold electro-plated ferrule is alluring, but the synthetic bristles make for a short lasting brush. After a week of use splaying occurred and after a few months bristles began to mysteriously evacuate.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I use these brushes for fine detailing on wedding cakes. They are precise and I love the short comfortable "pen like" handles. Only negative is that two of the fine liners did not have the caps that protect the brush heads when not in use.

I do small detailed work and have become very disappointed in these brushes after a short period. The smaller brushes 20/0 split at the tip of the brush. They are O.K. if you consider them very expendible. I have had better luck with both the silver brushes and La Corneille mini's.

I draw on bisque pottery with underglaze colors. This brush helps me keep the lines thin and accurate. It has proven to be the most helpful for drawing on pottery. I highly recommend using it.

I have never found a more comfortable brush that is both of quality and a good price. I used to spend more on my main painting brushes but these are by far better and more comfortable. I am actually increasing my assortment with this purchase because I have decided to stick with these solely for main painting from now on for my figure and diorama modeling. All other brushes I owned have now been downgraded to dry brushing and weathering ( the last thing I use them for before tossing them).
