Got this collapsible water bucket 4 travel. Now using in Watercolor classes. Very handy. It holds the brushesI use in the sides and doesn't tip. So much better than the hard plastic buckets that take up so much room. :-)

THIS IS MY THIRD ORDER OF THIS PRODUCT.........LOVE IT EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT THEY DON'T LAST VERY LONG BEFORE THEY BEGIN TO LEAK.

Serious watercolor artists should not purchase these buckets. I purchased two and they both leaked within minutes of being filled. After a few uses, they both leaked profusely. I have to line them with a freezer bag or a plastic container to keep them watertight. Price was too good to be true. Nice design but the material does not hold up.

Within 60 seconds of filling both of these they started leaking all over the place. They don't hold water at all. Would have been a great idea if the inside material was actually water tight.

I am a traveling plein air painter and I like this water holder because it is lightweight and fits in the pocket of my painting backpack. It doesn't mildew if folded up wet either. It is easier to clean than my old plastic water holder.
It's fault is that since there are two handles, the water holder doesn't hang neatly from anything on my easel. Either I can hang it from one handle and the holder dangles at almost 45 degrees so that it won't hold much water or I have to set it on the ground and bend over every time I want to clean my brush. However, if the handles were held together with a little string then it would hang upright instead of tipping at an angle when hung by one handle only. Hmmm. I have to go find some string then I will be totally happy with it.

Filled it with water and in less than 30 seconds, I had a puddle on my table and hardly no water in the bucket! Very disappointing, I thought you were supposed to be able to fill this bucket directly with water...maybe I misread something...

I like this water container so much that I use it constantly, not just when I travel & I am ordering a second one. It would be nice if it came in a larger size too. The feature I like best is the handy pockets for storing your brushes while you work. It is easy to fill, empty & clean out as well as store.
