Finished off an Acrylic painting with these new brushes. They left nice brush marks which I couldnt get with my other high quality hog hair brushes.... Outstanding! Im sure they will be resilient for day to day work... Excellent value..

Despite being described as stiff, I find this brush a bit limper and less assertive than natural bristle for pushing the paint around. Still an excellent brush, not a bristle out of place after a year of use.

Most of my paintings are done with acrylics. I work with an almost dry brush and do a lot of layering and hard scrubbing. These brushes hold their shape very well indeed, and, wonder of wonders, not a single ferrule has ever loosened. They're the best brushes I've found for any price for my style of painting.

these are the best brushes I have used in a long time I paint with them every day they hold paint well and give a nice fine edge when needed I paint mostly on canvas and linen they have good pressure and they don't wear down, they clean up easily and hold their shape I have been using these brushes now for 8 years and have only replaced them once What more can you ask for from a brush -the students I have let use them fall in love with them and so yes I am the greatest fan of the Princeton Bright 05362

The brushes are really great in terms of feeling like natural bristles. I have only had them about a month but I have painted in oil for the month and I really cannot tell the difference between these brushes and my old bristle ones.

I always wondered why house painters could buy high quality synthetic bristle brushes that have all the strength and response of natural bristle, while artists who work with heavy body acrylics had to choose between soggy natural bristles that blow out in water or limp nylon. So I used to buy house painters brushes, but they are so darn big for easel painting. The bristles were too long to do what I wanted to do.

So thank you Princeton for giving us brushes with the snap and response of natural bristle, but also rinse out easily and don't change their shape or rigidity in water.

Stroke, blend, scumble or glaze...I love these brushes.

I'm crazy about Princeton 6300 brushes. I am a professional painter. Natural bristle wears out fast and the other synthetic bristle brands are too soft. With these you can really move the paint around and they last much longer than natural bristle. They are good for both oil and acrylic.

The Princeton 6300 Bright #2 is my most favorite brush for lifting techniques in watercolor. It has a fine chiseled edge for delicate lines or can be used to lift out paint in larger areas as well without too much damage done to the paper. My students keep asking, "Where can I get my hands on that brush?" I'm never without my Princeton Bright.
