Prat's Start 4 Presentation Case offers a high-end look to the sophisticated professional. Its black, leather cover is padded, and has a luxurious grainy texture.

The case includes a deluxe leather handle on the spine, which allows the pages to hang down and prevents artwork from wrinkling. The inside strap keeps pages secure, and an inside pocket offers additional storage options and protection.

Each Start 4 case contains a black, multi-ring mechanism of superior quality, which allows the case to lie completely flat for presentation. Ten crystal clear, archival pages are included, and the 1" diameter ring mechanism offers room for even more, depending on the thickness of the artwork. A zip-around closure keeps everything together.

The outside of this portfolio presentation binder makes a great, quality impression. The inside is fine, too. It just feels a slight bit less substantial once it's open. For the money, though, I couldn't find anything else this size that matched the quality. And the price at Dick Blick was better than I could find anywhere else. Product arrived quickly and was well packaged. Hard to imagine anyone being disappointed with this purchase...especially at this price point.

Despite all the negative reviews about this product I found that the product is great. As a fresh out of college student, searching for a portfolio is tough work to find "just the right one" but after finding the Start Pratt 4, there really were no other ones that could compare.

Because of the rave reviews I bought the Pratt presentation case. I soon regretted it when I saw the quality of the leather. The leather is really thin and cheap looking. I did not at first buy the Global presentation case because of the one review on this site. But when I had to send the Pratt case back I went to a local art store and saw the Global case in person. The Global cases use much higher quality leather and look a lot nicer. I would ignore the stinky one star review about the Global case's zipper and buy a Global case instead of the Pratt case.

This is my first professional portfolio. The case presents well. The archival quality is supremely important for art work. The 11X14" size works well for photography. The sleeves are a snug fit and will protect for years to come. Kudos for the design!
