Comments about Prat Start 2 Portfolios:

We ordered four of the 31 x 42 x 3 portfolios and two 23 x 31 x 3. The larger ones are really nice and the construction seems very solid. However, the smaller portfolios have four hard rubber/plastic feet on the bottom for the portfolio to sit on. They were delivered in relatively cold weather, which I believe caused this plastic to become brittle because when I opened the package 7 out of 8 of these feet were completely shattered. Not a big deal as the portfolios still function without these feet, but still somewhat annoying.

This is a really nice portfolio for the price. I cannot currently afford the Start 4 leather portfolio and this was a good compromise. The side pockets are nice, but the elastic straps don't hold paper in at all. Maybe if it's a huge pile it would be more secure, but for me everything sort of slips down under the strap.

All in all though, it is a great product.

So the description says "the sizes given for ...portfolios... are the sizes of the artwork it is intended for, not the actual dimensions of product" and they show a photo of said item with artwork in it with plenty of space around the edge. What they don't tell you is that the 24"x36" is right up to the inner edges of the portfolio. That would be fine if it weren't for the corners. The cloth and zipper sides contract at the rounded corners making it impossible to put a piece of 24"x36" art in without damaging the corners of said artwork. It also has metal rivets from the handles, exposed on the inside where they could potentially damage artwork if any pressure from within or without is put upon that area. The ONLY way this product is worthwhile is if you use it for artwork 1-3 inches smaller per dimension than their stated 24"x36". I feel duped and will probably return it.

As a facilitator in the nonprofit world, I use flip charts in my work; and as you may know, flip chart paper can be expensive. This case is big enough to carry more than one flip chart and the other materials I need to facilitate workshops and training sessions. The cost was right on point and after two workshops has already paid for itself!

Product had everything I needed in a portfolio. The pouch on one side and the elastics on the other are a great feature. The best part was the price of it was over 50% of what I could buy it for in town! I would recommend this product to other artists.
