Porcelain makes such a great surface for leaning a brush while not in use! Protect the delicate hairs on the brush from contact with hard surfaces, and protect your studio tabletop from stains and solvents.
This brush holder is weighty enough that it won't slide around on the table. If you can avoid dropping it, you'll be using it for many years.

Comments about Porcelain Brush Holder:
I don't know how anyone is saying they love how it holds their brushes when I have yet to get a brush to stay on the thing. It is garbage.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Best for Long Handle Brushes
from Baltimore, MD
The holder is aesthetically nice for its utility. My short handle brushes usually slide off unless there is a support (like a mat) beneath the handles. It works better for the long handle brushes.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

When I'm painting, I change brushes a lot, so it's nifty to have a little prop to put them on. Don't know why I didn't get one before.

Very handy and convenient tool when alternating from brush to brush
I finally know how to let my brushes dry.
Until now drying brushes was always a problem but this holder is perfect for drying and keeping track of brushes.

More than adequate!
from San Jose, CA
This brush holder is HUGE! I was expecting something 1/3 the size. But, it's very substantial and will not tip over easily. It measures 6.5" X 2.0" - it will be useful.
from Colorado Springs, CO
I plan on using this especially when doing watercolors.
more bothersome than helpful
from Queen Creek, AZ
The brushes slide easily out of the porcelain slots requiring use of a putty-like tacky substance which I molded in to prevent slipping. I intend to purchase something else and heave this one in the trash.
Merchant response: We're sorry that this brush holder isn't going to work out for you, and we're happy to work with you on a return or exchange. Just call 1-800-723-2787 to speak to one of our Customer Care Agents.
It does what is supposed to do-temporarily hold brushes while painting. Wasn't sure if it would work for me but I ended up really liking it. I paint in both watercolors and oils so I may purchase a second one. It is sturdy and easy to clean.
