Perfect for students
from Charlottesville, VA
Comments about Plastic Tray Palette:
These are great for intermediate students, as the wells are very shallow (beginners tend to overload with paint, water, etc and should use a deep-welled palette). Durable and easy to clean.

Perfect for what I needed
from Kenonosha, WI
This was exactly what I needed for my beginner watercolor students: inexpensive, uniform, and reusable. The tray partitions allow me to stack the trays without disturbing the paint. I can squirt out the paint at home, let the colors dry, stack the trays, and bring them in a Rubbermaid bin ready for a class of 20 students. If someone needs more mixing room, I give them a 2nd tray. But after class I can collect the trays, stack them in my bin, and I'm ready for the next class. Perfect, organized, and professional. Yes, a $17 covered tray would be better with more mixing room and space for more paint, but not out of my pocket for this many students!

It's a thin plastic, but does the job.

I'm just learning about watercolors. This little try has so many little places for me to put bits of watercolors. I will probably get a couple more of them to let my grandsons use fair their watercolors also. I think dick block has great products and prices.

Only good for water colors
from Great Falls, VA
I used these palettes in my classroom for students to mix acrylic colors. Tried washing them and the paints left on the palettes would not wash off. I took them home to use paint thinner and the palettes melted away. I ended up throwing all of them away after one use. I made this purchase to reduce waste of products not, money. It was very disappointing.

Fine Product for Beginning
from Castroville, TX
Purchased for use in a free children's watercolor class in which a limited palette of tube watercolors was used, this product worked very well. We provided the children with a seperate tray in which to mix the colors as the palette is very small. It worked well, because our space was limited and the children had plenty of room to mix and paint.
