Pentalic Recycled Traveler's Sketchbooks are an economical, ecological choice for students, artists, list-makers, and note-takers!

The recycled, white, acid-free, 60 lb (100 gsm) paper is perfect for pencil, crayon, charcoal, or pastel, and the books are perfect-bound to lay flat when writing or sketching.

Each book contains 80 sheets (160 pages) of paper, a ribbon page marker, and an elastic closure to hold the waterproof cover closed.

Note — Product requires Prop 65 warning due to chemicals in the sketchbook covers.

Good and sturdy cover and binding. The pocket and elastic strap are useful; the paper is a nice weight and can stand up to repeated erasings and heavy pen and ink work without feathering or tearing. Good deal and less than half the price of a (smaller) sketchbook from Moleskine.

I have been looking for a sketchbook/notebook to take to meeting/conferences that looks better than a notepad and had a retaining strap so it stays closed, this is just what i was looking for. Thanks Dick Blick.

I used a Pentalic book as a journal/sketchbook while on pilgrimage across Spain (Camino de Santiago de Compostela). It was great for both writing and drawing. It's lightweight and has good, acid-free paper with a nice tooth to it. I even prefer it to its much more expensive, well-known competition. A very good deal.
