Pebeo drawing gum
from Plymouth, MI
Comments about Pebeo Drawing Gum:
I recently learned that Pebeo makes two different formulas of drawing gum. The bottles look virtually the same but there is a formulation is quite different . I was so happy to learn that Dick Blick carried the "artist's formula". You can tell the difference by the bar code on the bottle. It is a great product that works exactly like it should and removes easily.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This very fluid frisket can be applied with a very small pointed brush (coat w/ soapy water before use) & the brush can be washed out, if it does not dry on the brush. I even used a small wire screen to get a fine stippled pattern for sand, etc. texture.
Best masking I've ever used
You won't lose a brush when using this masking product. I wet my brush, rolled it in my brush soap as instructed, and then used the masking liquid. As always, use only on dry paper and remove only when your paper is dry. This has a light blue color. Easy to see. I've left it on for several days and I've had no problem removing it. Bottom line is that I'm very happy with this product.
Pebeo Drawing Gun is easy to use. I like the blue coloring that makes it easy to see when painting. I use this product to cover large areas.
The best masking fluid there is
from Scottsdale AZ
You can even draw with it. It thins with water and doesn't har4m brushes as much as others do.
Great masking fluid.

This is the only brand I've tried. Works great if you gently roll it off. I tried catching a long piece and pulling upward on it and it tore my paper. Rolling is the best method.
Best brand to use
from Clermont, FL
I switched to this brand from another on the recommendation I read in a book by Nita Engle. She's right. This is the brand to use. It goes on as thinly and finely as you need, comes up easily, and doesn't stain the paper.
One of the best in its line.

Many liquid friskets are too thick or too white. I find I can detail more with this product by having finer lines.
Best masking fluid for fine details
from Lewes, DE
This masking fluid is the consistency of milk and allows you to mask fine details without difficulty. Using a rigger brush allows you to create the smallest areas and ultra fine lines.
Best masking fluid!
Apparently, Pebeo manufactures two different formulas for its drawing gum. Dick Blick carries the ARTIST'S formula, which is far superior to any other masking fluid I have tried.
