You really can draw with this mask. I used a flat toothpick to draw fine lines and it will even draw broader lines. For large areas I would use a brush. The color is a very pale blue which helps you to see where you placed it. I also found it easy to remove and it did not leave any color behind. So much better than my previous choices.

This drawing gum is named,,,exactly right, You can draw with it unlike other similar materials,,,this one is thin, goes on easily and is much easier to remove from the brush when it dries. It is also easily removed from the paper. I have recommended it to everyone I know who uses watercolour. After checking around I also found this company's prices the most competative.

I've had the chance to use a couple of different masks for my watercolor art. While Pebeo's offering is okay it's nothing to write home about. It's waterproof even with only a thin coat, but I find I have to put a ton on if I don't want it to come off in tiny pieces. Sometimes I even have to bring out my cement gum eraser to get the remaining pieces off. Winsor & Newton's masking fluid is a little more expensive but comes off like a charm and doesn't smell like you just murdered a box of latex gloves.

this stuff is amazing...it is soooo much better than the other products i've used. it stays where you put it and comes off easily! and the coverage is great! it does what it is suppose to do and that is what i was looking for. it doesn't leave little holes where the watercolor can seep into! NO MORE RUINED PAINTINGS! THANK YOU!
