Welcome to dickblick
This synthetic sponge is very soft and highly absorbent. Resistant to chemicals and grease, it holds only water.
Note: The dimensions of the sponges may vary slightly.

Get's the job done, again and again

Great for studio cleanup. Absorb well, and rinse out nicely. They hold up to rough surfaces and gritty materials, while lasting for years!
holes are too coarse to pick up paint on the table
from Madison, WI
I own a paint your own pottery store, and we have to wipe glaze off the table often. With my old sponges I could do this in one pass. This one takes 4 to 5 passes. No thanks. I put these in the clay room and will look for others to order.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

These are tough- not soft sponges. Great for scrubbing tables or if you need course texture while art making.

Poly sponge rules! Poly sponge for president of all sponges! Bow before poly sponge! Poly sponge is like a friend whom you can trust with your deepest, darkest secret. Poly sponge will always be there when you need it most. Don't you dare leave poly sponge in the sink because that's not cool. Poly sponge will break down if you do so, and no longer be the friend and confidant you once thought it. I love you, poly sponge.
Great for blending, bad for cleaning
from Dallas, TX
I love the way these work for blending. I cut them up and use them in pieces to get the effect I want, but the only problem I have had is that they do not rinse well. It takes far longer to get the majority of the paint out of these sponges than most of the others I have used. I definitely prefer my natural sponges, but these will work, as long as you don't mind taking the time to clean them.
