Contained in the center of the caddy is a 13-watt OttLite lamp that features High Definition Natural Lighting and OttLite 508 Illumination. A precise blend of light wavelengths, 508 Illumination allows the eye to see and focus without the harsh glare, brightness, distortion, and fatigue that other types of light sources can cause. Colors are vibrant and details are incredibly clear under this unique low-heat, low-glare illumination.

What's more, the output of the 13W OttLite T-4 tube is roughly equivalent to that of a 60W incandescent bulb, so it uses approximately one-quarter the energy to produce the same amount of light.

The lamp has an extendable arm that adjusts from 10½"–17" (27 cm × 43 cm)high so you can put the light where you need it. The arm and shade fold neatly away when not in use. The OttLite cord is approximately 6 ft (182 cm) long. The base of the lamp is approximately 10" (25 cm) in diameter. The head of the lamp is approximately 10" (25 cm) long.
