One Drawing a Day includes 46 inspiring exercises that make up a complete six-week course. Each was developed by one of eight talented professional illustrators, based upon one of his or her own drawings.

All exercises include suggestions for experimenting with various mediums, advice on how to approach and execute the drawing, as well as professional tips. The book also includes projects designed to spark new ideas and increase creativity.

Veronica Lawlor is a faculty member at Pratt Institute and Parsons School of Design, both located in New York City. Her work has appeared in numerous publications including New York, Vanity Fair, Food & Wine, and the New York Times.
