A brush and water container in one! Great for watercoloring, rubber stamping, sketching and more. The small, medium, large, and flat brushes all hold 7 ml of water, and the mini holds 5½ ml of water.
Squeeze or fill the water reservoir, screw on the brush tip, and you're ready to go! Squeeze the Niji Waterbrush gently to wet the brush and keep it moist, which eliminates continually dipping your brush. This brush is great for travel.

The Flat Brush is Amazing
from Eugene, OR
Comments about Niji Waterbrush:
I got the flat brush, and I love it so much. It is really nice to do calligraphy with, because it has such a harsh angle. The design is beautiful, with the hole being so small that you need to squeeze it in order to refill it. Therefore, the cleaning process is a bit harder than others, the soap gets trapped, but just keep squeezing the bubbles out. It allows for a high control of water flow. It is my favorite waterbrush by far.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Nice portable brush
from Ann Arbor, MI
I like to take these brushes with me when I carry my pan watercolors outside to paint. They also work great with watercolor pencils. They are easy to use and clean. They are also great for brush lettering. I also like that they come in a variety of sizes. #sweepstakes

Portability with Style

from Wareham, MA
This brush is great for the artist on the go. The brush tip is well shaped and holds it as such. I got the long brush and would probably recommend the short brush for those wanting to carry a small item in a purse or by hand. It is probably best used with watercolor pencils because one doesn't then need to clean the brush from color to color.

a fantastic waterbrush
from western pennsylvania
i began using waterbrushes quite a while ago to use with watercolor pencils while keeping a travel journal on our camping trips. the first ones i tried were cheaper models i found at my local craft stores. then i found the niji. the rest is history. these are the best by far of all the waterbrushes i have ever used. i use the brushes now with a watercolor palette i created for my travels and nature journaling. my method is now simple and completely enjoyable. in fact, because of the simplicity i now do nature journalling as well as keep a travel journal. i have all the sizes of the brushes, but find the medium one my 'go to' brush and would recommend that one to start with if you are unsure of which one to get. also, i suggest not wasting your money on cheaper brushes, but go for the niji. after about four years of use, my brushes are still going strong! one did clog up on me this summer while we were out camping, but i carefully took it apart and discovered a very small permeable plug inside the brush, which, i think controls the water flow. i carefully poked the plug a couple of times with a needle and got it working perfectly again. what a great product! i love it!
Can't do art without this
from Eureka Springs, AR
This makes my travel art kit doable. This is the greatest thing since sliced bread....no messy containers of water to mess with.... Love it!
I love using these water brushes !
I love using these water brushes! I find it's easier to squeeze the upper barrell under a faucet to fill.they hold quite a bit of water . I give them a little squeeze to get going and the water flows nicely. The brush part holds its shape well. I like that you can see the sponge part near the brush to see that the water is flowing properly. Can't say enough good about these. I absolutely love them !!
