these frames would have been fantastic except for:
1. the joints consistantly don't meet. gaps in 1/3.
2. glass was broken from poor packaging. i had to reorder 3xs. my original order for 25- they replaced so many because they arrived broken. Also if glass wasn't broken, it was all scratched up & little glass shards were inside the frame. i got cut at least 4x.
3. the backs are full of dust/dirt.
4. if yoy get a perfect one-keep it because it is beautiful. but a perfect one is unlikely unless there are changes at the plant.

I needed about 30 frames for a photo display project. i ordered this frame. the back panel did not meet the sides of the frame. the clips did not go into the locking slots.
The white mats were cut very nicely.
very average product, but from a distance it looks fine. this is not a product for the discerning person.

I bought five of the 16x20" Tuscan metal frames and one arrived with a large chip in the glass. All it took was a quick phone call to Blick and they shipped a new one out right of way! The frames themselves are of excellent quality, very sturdy. The glass is clear and doesn't have a greenish tint commonly seen with cheaper glass. It is important to have clear glass to not affect the subtle tonality of your photographic prints. The mat window included has a slight texture to it and is an off-white. I used my own mat because my photographs are full frame 35mm. The rear cover is made of hard board and has clips to easily position it in place. It allows for fast removal of the photograph. Overall, I would highly recommend this product because of it's high quality and affordable pricing.

I bought several sizes of this frame. They look great and were easy to put drawings into. I purchased one of the largest size in the group and the frame arrived split apart at the corners. I am generally pretty handy but there was no way I could get the corners back together perfectly. Blick replaced the frame but I thought that was unfortunate that the corners could not be easily readjusted
