The Tribeca poster frame is a genuine wood piece that is beautifully incorporated into your fine photo display. It has a straight-line profile with an elegant black finish, making it ideal for showcasing photographs, posters, or contemporary artwork. Pieces are protected by a Plexiglas cover.
The 13/16" wide, flat-top design includes a masonite backing. The straight-line profile has a silky surface. Mounting hardware for hanging the frame either horizontally or vertically is included.
Frame Depth — The depth of a frame refers to the depth of the frame's rabbet (the cut-out area behind the frame's molding that holds your artwork in place). To find a frame that will accommodate your artwork, measure the depth of the artwork, including any matting or mounting materials, and order a frame with a depth that is, at a minimum, the same as that measured depth.
Frame Dimensions — Frames are sized by the opening, not by the outside of the molding. To determine the size of frame to order, measure the outside of your artwork, including mat, and order that size frame. The frame will overlap your artwork ¼" all the way around, so your artwork will fit nicely behind the frame's molding.

Glazing is too thin in larger sizes
By Paul the printmaker
from Minneapolis, Minn.
Comments about Nielsen Bainbridge Tribeca Poster Frames:
My comments relate to the larger frames in this series. I purchased a 22 x 28 inch frame. The frame is fine, but the plexiglas provided is too thin for this size. The result is an unsightly outward bulge in the art and glazing. This product would be improved if thicker plexiglas was provided. Note that the backing supplied is a masonite board and a sheet of ordinary corrugated cardboard.

Second time I have purchased the same frame, very impressed with quality and construction, outstanding frame for the price.

I have been using Dick Blick for framing for 10 years and have never been disappointed.
Great Product I would buy again!
I used this frame to frame basketball jerseys. I wish there were more styles of this frame out there. The plexiglass is perfect to keep the frame light and the two depths allow for thicker artwork to be framed very easily.
Great frames for big things

I got these frames for some 18"x24" drawings. They were less expensive than regular frames, they arrived in good shape and were easy to put the drawings in and prepare for hanging. I haven't compared a lot of others but was pleased with these, their quality, and how easy they were to use.
Lovely addition to the room.

We used these to frame 3 original works of art our daughter produced in college. We previously had them in very cheap slide on frames. We wanted to preserve the color quality so we got the uv filtered glass. They are such nice frames. The pictures look great.
Great Frame, Great Deal at Blick

Very versatile frame, easy to use, and comes with non-glare glass at the 18X24 size. I used for commemorative minature bike jerseys for a client which the frame's 1" depth allowed perfectly.
Poor quality control.

At first glance this looked to be a really nice frame, but like another frame that I had purchased recently the quality is lacking. This frame had the same manufacturing defects. Dried paint flecks in the finish, scuffs, dinged corner. The biggest problem with this frame though is that it was shorter than its stated dimensions. I purchased this frame to frame a piece of art that measured exactly 22x28. The frame is actually 1/16" shorter. Not good if you're looking to frame something nice, like an old half sheet movie poster for example.Frankly this frame is garbage for the money. Don't waste your money on this. This will be the last frame I order from Blick.

not the best quality control
By Framed in Portland
from Portland, OR
I purchased two 24" x 36" size to frame 7/8" canvas paintings. One frame turned out to be too small to fit the canvas, and one of the glued corners separated as I attempted to place the canvas in it. The second frame fit fine. Aesthetically, it looks fair - just a basic, narrow black wooden frame.
