EcoCare is as committed to environmental sustainability as it is to design aesthetics. These tree-friendly EcoCare frames from Nielsen Bainbridge are made from sustainable wood alternatives and reclaimed plantation woods, which do not contribute to deforestation. All frames include a glass facing. All elements are either recyclable or biodegradable, and the frame finish is waterbased and free of chemicals and solvents. Frames sized 8" × 10" and larger include an acid-free mat. The black frames are made from the wood of rubber trees, and the natural frames are made from bamboo. The 5" × 7" and 8" × 10" frames feature an easel for table display as well as wall mounting. Frame Depth — The depth of a frame refers to the depth of the frame's rabbet (the Note — Frames are sized by the opening, not by the outside of the molding. To determine the size of frame to order, measure the outside of your artwork, including mat, and order that size frame.
