The skating coach community, including hundreds of learn to skate programs in the province, once kept these markers as a staple resource for writing on the ice. Now that the felt tip has changed, they can hardly make a mark on the ice surface. We will be looking for a different product to buy for sure!

I have been using Mr. Scent Markers for a number of years and have every teacher hooked on them. I actually said it was the number one item for parents to buy this year for stockings-that is- until I tried the new ones!!!!!! BRUTAL!!!!! The lasted less than one month and never wrote well from the first day. The other ones lasted forever and had a great smell. I am opening every pack and praying that someone is carrying old stock. I will never again buy the new and I am embarassed that I told my parents to purchase such a rip off.

After being 100 percent loyal to Mr. Sketch for 16 years, - am most disappointed to see the dramatic drop in quality in the past year (2010). The tips dry up after just 2-3 uses and the marker leaves a much thinner mark, sort of like Crayola's colored markers of same size.

I use markers on flip charts as a professional facilitator every day. Now I am being forced top look at competitors products, like Sharpie. Please redesign tips and reinstate quality in Mr. Sketch markers. Otherwise, you"ll lose long-term customers and lose many sales tonbcompetitors. Training and using flip charts is a multi-million dollar business!!!

Though I know I am just repeating what others have said, I want Sanford to hear us loud and clear! I am a kindergarten teacher and I've been using the Mr. Sketch markers for over 15 years- I love them, they write great, thick lines and write so smoothly. I always start the year with at least two fresh boxes for myself, and give the old ones to the classroom art center, where even though the little kiddos moosh down the tips, they still color beautifully for a long time! (I prefer mine to have the nice FELT chisel tip). BUT NOW the new hard tips are AWFUL! I hope Sanford is really doing as they say, and getting rid of these markers and bringing back what many of us educators and presenters loved about their markers- who the heck came up with the idea to change these fantastic markers? Can't wait until they're back in my local Staples store- believe me, I'll be opening and checking the box before I dare purchase!!

I am an art teacher and have loved Mr. Sketch markers because they last forever. The new chisel tip marker is horrible! I will not be buying any more until they bring back the old markers.

For over twenty years I have used and LOVED Mr. Sketch markers (both the scented and unscented kinds), and the vast majority of them have lasted for years, even with constant use. I am an art teacher, and I was totally disappointed to see the new tips on the broad markers. My students immediately complained that their markers were running dry. I couldn't believe it when my brand-new packages were running out within the first few uses, but they were! It is my undstanding that the company will be bringing back the felt tipped versions, but until then, I will not be ordering any Mr. Sketch broad markers! Very frustrating....

Fantastic. Just fantastic. The array of scents that these markers adhere sends my senses on a magical journey. The red is extravagent, the blue is marvelous, and the purple is just wow.. A multitude of wonder awaits any consumer of these sensational markers. Happy smelling!

As a teacher, I am making charts and posters every day. I have loved using Mr. Sketch markers throughout my education, and into my career. HOWEVER, the new chisel tip is AWFUL. I purchased a pack that did not work well from the very first use. I thought that maybe I had purchased a bad pack,and so purchased not one, but two more packs of markers. Not one of these markers worked well. I have to use all three sets of markers to make just ONE chart because the ink does not run well. I am incredibly disappointed. Teachers have to spend too much of their own money in the classroom and my money has not been well-spent on this product.

These markers were our favourites!!! as Ice Skating instructors we found that they were the ONLY marker that was efficient for drawing on the ice surface to help demonstrate skills and incorporate fun into our lessons. Each of us always has at least a handfull of them in our pockets! But the New hard rounded tips ( not the good felt chisel tip) do not show up on the ice at all... PLEASE CHANGE THEM BACK!!!!! Thank you!!
