Moulin du Roy is a mouldmade, 100% cotton, acid-free, French watercolor paper that features enhanced surface cohesion to allow the application of several layers of paint without damaging the surface.
Special mass and surface sizing provide wet strength and allow for easy, even spreading of pigments. The paper also has very good dry and wet erasability.
Moulin du Roy Watercolor Paper is available in sheets, rolls, pads, and blocks, making it easy to customize the size of your art.
Handling Charge — When ordering sheets of paper or board larger than 18” x 24” in quantities of less than 10, a $3.00 per order handling fee applies. Paper or boards may be assorted to reach the quantity of 10.

Wasted money on a roll of this

Comments about Moulin du Roy Watercolor Paper Sheets and Rolls:
I paint mainly watercolor or mixed media with acrylic or oil pastels. This is by far one of my least favorites especially for painting animals. I am disabled and admit to being hard on paper but this paper creases too much even before I started painting. I am stuck with it now so I will probably keep it around if I run out of paper or will give it to my granddaughter.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

what is with the STICKERS on the paper?
i got the moulin du roy to replace fabriano artistico hp.... which has slipped in qualityi would have rated the moulin du roy higher but EVERY SINGLE SHEET has a stick on one sideand i just bought 23 sheets of this stuff.....each one with a sticker on one side.the surface isn't too bad...still not as good as fabriano used to be-i have to use it..... although i am really not happy with the stickernow..... this is not blick's fault as this is how the manufacturers are sending papers through. but next i am going to see about getting custom paper made to get the right surface for botanicals in watercolor
Best paper for watercolor EVER!
I own a web-based business where our only product is caricatures. I have tried numerous papers and have found this one to be superior when using watercolor as a medium. Would highly recommend this product. Plan to lay in a supply. . .

Disappointed in the fact only one side is a rough texture unlike other watercolor papers that are rough on both sides. Could use a bit more sizing as well. I tend to scratch into my paper at times and this doesn't take abuse well.

Great "Dupe" for Arches
This is my new favorite watercolor paper, I mainly use the 300lb cold press sheets and I love it. The reason for the title is mostly it's a better deal than the Arches, I personally think the quality is about the same except that this paper has a softer surface texture and is less stiff than Arches, which I personally can work with. I don't have to tape it down and I love how it holds pigments and blends. I'd definitely recommend you try it out!

Works well for colored pencils
I haven't used it for watercolor yet, but this paper is very good for colored pencils. The paper is very strong and smooth.
Love Moulin du Roy watercolor paper!
By Kathy watercolors
from Pasadena, CA
I am a watercolor painter and have mainly used Arches WC paper for many years. I ordered some Moulin du Roy 140 CP sheets to try even though I had ever heard of it before. It has a surface texture similar to Arches but it is the easiest paper to lift paint when you need to. Apparently it is sized internally and externally. I am looking forward to trying the hot press too!
fabio cembranelli's paper
from san francisco
I took a workshop from Fabio and he uses this paper. It seems a bit smoother and it is easier to do his technique on this paper than my arches, which is still greatl He puts on paint and then quickly removes some of it .
The 140# cold press is a beautiful, strong paper.
