MOO Carve boasts a revolutionary PVC surface that’s softer and safer to use than linoleum — and also latex-free!
Use MOO Carve Carving Blocks for stamp carving, printmaking, and any other applications where you'd normally use linoleum. They're a neutral light gray color that's easy to work with, and the thickness allows for deep-carve cutting on either one or both sides of the block.
MOO Carve readily accepts transfer designs, or you can simply draw directly on the surface. It can be cut into smaller pieces without crumbling or breaking apart.

Wrinkles on surface ruin printing
from Portland, OR
Comments about MOO Carve Professional Carving Blocks:
I bought these a while ago and haven't opened them until now since I have been experimenting with other blocks. I came back to these because I like how thick they are (they don't need a backing) and have been happy with them in the past. Upon opening these (I got a box of 6) I discovered that there are wrinkles on the surface of the blocks (both sides). The wrinkles may have been made by the plastic wrap they're in. I tested them to see if the wrinkles will show up once inked and printed on paper: they do! (See photo.) This issue basically renders these blocks useless. I might be able to salvage them for tiny stamps but using the unmarred sections but otherwise they're a waste of money. Unfortunately I cannot recommend them.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Moo Carve is a good product. It carves well and makes a smooth print. The shavings don't stick in the tools. You don't have to mount it. It's not too flexible. It bogs up when you work on small details. The price is a little steep.

Used these to create a stamp of a logo, Ive never created a stamp before but these worked perfectly!

I have been carving stamp blocks for years. This product is nice and thick so you can carve both sides. It is not too gritty or flexible like some other products I have carved. It is smooth and stiff enough to carve without mounting it. You can get details with the small tools. The material does not stick inside the groove of the tools. If it were a tiny bit softer it would be perfect.

This carving block, at the 3/4 inch size, doesn't need to be attached to anything to stamp with. It carves very smoothly and doesn't crumble at all. Very professional product.

packaging left wrinkles on the surface of the material

A friend ordered these for me on her order and I found that the plastic wrapping left indentations on the surface which show up when printing. It seemed to carve okay but its basically useless due to the creases on the surface. Since the master carve blocks went out of production I have not found a comparatively satisfying product.

I carved one of the big blocks today and it is perfect. Easy to carve and use. Now my personal alphabet looks amazing incorporated into my original artwork.

The best rubber print block material
I am new to these rubber printing blocks and have tried many. Moo blocks are the easiest to cut while, at the same time, the ones that allow for better precision than the rest. If you're new to printing with them you might invest in some of the less expensive printing blocks just to allow yourself to explore and play, then move to these as they are pricey but worth it.
Very easy to use
