Montana Acrylic Markers feature brilliant, waterbased, pigmented, matte colors that are compatible with and match the colors in the Montana Gold spray paint range. The optimum flow control pump valve system allows accurate handling and application.

The ink in Montana Acrylic Markers is lightfast, waterproof, and abrasion-proof, allowing it to be applied to almost any surface, including canvas, wood, metal, walls, and glass. It's also ideal for brushwork and airbrush use. Just choose an empty marker and fill it up with Montana Acrylic Inks.

The Extra Fine and Fine Point nibs are the best choice for detailed work, available in convenient sets of six or 12 markers.

Extra Fine Point, Set of 6 — This set contains six Extra Fine Point (0.7 mm) refillable markers, including one each of Shock Black, Shock Blue Light, Shock Green, Shock Red, Shock White Pure, and Shock Yellow Light.

Fine Point, Set of 6 — This set contains six Fine Point (2 mm) non-refillable markers, including one each of Shock Black, Shock Blue, Shock Green Light, Shock Red, Shock White Pure, and Shock Yellow.

I really like these markers, nice lines, great opacity. The tips hold up great on smooth surfaces and last pretty well on rough surfaces such as old wood and brick. The paint lasts longer than I expected. I really like using the lighter colors to add highlights to my artwork.

I bought the extra fine set, both 2mm sets and an assortment of empty markers and refill paint. I have had good luck mixing in other high quality liquid acrylics. To my dismay however I realized that the 12 Markers from the B set are non refillable. The markers from set A are refillable like the empty markers. I will say that again...

The markers in set B are NOT refillable!!

I am now wary to order more single pre-filled markers as I don't know if they too will be non-refillable.

I really like the markers, my overall review would be higher if they all came as refillable, it was the selling point that made me go ahead and take the risk of spending several hundred dollars on something that I had never used before. I like them enough to keep buying them... I think I will just get empty markers and refills though.

I used the markers in art journaling, mixed media paintings, gourd work, and as highly portable acrylic paint. The pens do not leak, provide an even, consistent flow of paint, and have great color saturation. I have been using the fine nib width, but am order the extra-fine for ATC work. I've been searching for a great matte acrylic pen and I am incredibly pleased with these markers - they have far exceeded my expectations and because I enjoy working with them so much I find myself creating more. Currently working on creating a mandala - just for an excuse to work with these pens. Never made one before.
