Masa for Marbling
By Marbling Cristina
from Boston, MA
One of the best paper for Paper Marbling. Also, a great choice for mixed media applications, especially wet techniques. One side is smooth, the other is rough. I prefer the smooth side for my paper marbling. Great paper at a great price.

Masa Paper holds Ink
from Traverse City, Mi
The Masa paper holds ink well and is tough enough to handle repeated printings. It is a pleasure to work with and to tear.

I enjoy using this paper with Inktense blocks. I'm now using tangles the Zentangle method on it.
from Davidson, NC
I use this paper for encaustic monotypes on a large heated palette. It's a good weight that absorbs some of the wax but not too much wax. The textured side of the paper offers opportunities to work in that design element if so desired.

Masa for encaustic printmaking
By Gina, printmaker
I use masa paper for encaustic monotypes. It is consistent in results and durable!
Excellent for Block Printing
from Cleveland, Ohio
I started using masa paper in a printmaking class for linoleum block printing when I was experimenting with different papers. It's more durable than rice paper, and the price is unbelievable for the quality. The rough side is perfect for reduction block printing because it holds layers of ink very well. And bright colors look great because of the pure white color.
